Resort Interiors was formed in 1995 by Frank and
Julie Kovach to help rebuild the devastation of Hurricane Opal. Frank and Julie had
formerly operated a Design Build and General Contracting firm where,
over the past 20 years, they had developed a very successful concept
of one source shopping—a concept that appealed to the second home
buyer and vacationer. These individuals appreciated having someone
handle everything while they simply did what they came here for—go to
the beach or play golf. |
Resort Interiors grew to become the area’s
largest design and home furnishings center. Today, Resort
Interiors offers shoppers a 60,000 square foot showroom & design
center featuring ten of the nation’s top furniture lines included in
the more than 700 lines the store carries, all representing a wide
variety of styles and price ranges. Resort Interiors is committed to
carrying the best furniture lines all at savings from 30% to 60%! The
store carries more lines than any other furniture store on the Emerald
Coast from Tallahassee to Mobile. The store carries celebrity lines
such as Martha Stewart Signature Furniture with Bernhardt, Tommy Bahama, Hemingway , Bogart and Susan Sargeant, as well as popular and
prestigious lines such as Thomasville, Henredon, Century, Drexel
Heritage, Braxton-Culler and Bernhardt. With their lowest price
guarantee, you can be assured that you always get the best price.
Resort Interiors
offers the largest staff of interior designers on the Gulf Coast. Our
staff includes many of the area’s most successful and in-demand
interior designers and their services are provided, complimentary, to
customers. The staff is responsible for the firm’s 96% approval rating
with customers, as well as for the awards the firm has won: Parade of
Homes Winner, Library Guild Tour Winner, Top 100 fastest Growing
Companies in Florida in 1999 and 2000 by the University of Florida,
Top Retailer in the state of Florida in 1998, nomination for INC 500
in October 2001. Resort Interiors has been voted best furnishings
center on the Emerald Coast for the past four years by the readers of Emerald Coast
magazine.
Resort Interiors is committed to the well-being
of the community. The firm’s largest cause is the new Sacred Heart
Hospital in South Walton County. Resort Interiors has made a major
5-year commitment, which has resulted in raising $250,000 for the
hospital. Another of the firm’s commitments helped to furnished Haven
House, and the firm continually provides furnishings for other local
charities.
