RANDY WISE HOMES SELECTS
RESORT INTERIORS Resort Interiors and designer Darlene Arnette have been selected by Randy Wise Homes to decorate the company’s 4,894 square foot Parade of Homes entry, located at 4521 Olde Plantation Place off of Mattie’s Way in Kelly Plantation. The home will be open to the public during the Parade of Homes, June 21 – 29. “The home celebrates casual elegance in grand style. The facace incorporates 200 year old reclaimed Chicago brick,” says Arnette. “This is a comfortable, stately Southern home, and it will be furnished with comfortable, stately, southern pieces from Resort Interiors wide selection of furnishings—many from the new Martha Stewart Signatures Collection for Bernhardt and from Accents Francais by Drexel Heritage.” Arnette has selected a palette of teals, red, coral and fresh yellow-greens to complement the interior of the home which features travertine floors, a wood-stained barrel ceiling in the home’s family room and oil-rubbed bronze hardware and fixtures throughout. Debbie Wise of RandyWise Homes says, “This is another of our finer homes. We gave built a lot of fine homes, and this is a wonderful one. We are excited about it. The whole feel of the house is different and unique in style. We know that Darlene will design the perfect interior to showcase the home’s many unique features.” The grand, two-story foyer of the home boars arched niches which have been hand-painted in a diptych mural. The entry staircase adds character with California, hand-carved newel posts, and two and three-step crown molding. Upstairs, there is a “learning center” with twin, custom built-in computer work stations. Also upstairs is a media room which will be decorated to provide the feel of an elegant turn of the century English “gentlemen’s club,” decorated with sportsmen’s trophies and billiard table. The upstairs bath, between two bedrooms features a door of seeded glass. There are several interior balconies, overlooking the downstairs interior space. A French Country kitchen with cherry cabinetry and granite counter tops includes double antique wood and glass doors leading into a walk-in pantry, wallpapered and bordered in a French Country theme. The home’s pool/spa, lanai and cantilevered balcony are enclosed in a two-story screened enclosure.
